Silk is a luxurious and delicate fabric that requires special care.
- Professional dry cleaning only is strongly recommended.
- Petrol wash is permitted.
- Do NOT hand wash or machine wash.
- Do not use soaps or detergents.
- Silk is naturally prone to fading and discoloration over time.
Storage Tips
Wrap silk sarees in muslin cloth to preserve their luster.
Refold sarees periodically to prevent permanent crease fading.
Store in a cool, dry place to avoid discoloration.
Steam ironing is preferable.
A natural fading process may occur over time depending on usage and care.
âš If washing is unavoidable:
Use mild detergent in cold water.
Do not twist or wring the garment.
Wash strictly at your own risk.
Rasiq does not guarantee color, fabric, or zari after washing.
Cotton Care Instructions
Cotton is a durable and breathable fabric that can be easily maintained.
Can be laundered easily.
Cotton fibers are strong and long-lasting.
Use starch to retain shine, structure, and reduce wrinkles.
Do not expose garments to harsh sunlight.
Avoid hanging; store folded instead.
Dry cleaning is sufficient for cotton garments. Petrol wash is not required.
Cotton can be ironed using a regular iron or steam iron.
Chiffon / Georgette / Crepe Care Instructions
These fabrics are delicate and require gentle handling.
Do NOT machine wash.
Professional dry cleaning is highly recommended.
Gentle hand wash only if absolutely necessary.
Do not twist or wring dry.
Avoid hanging for long durations as the fabric may lose shape.
Maintenance Tips
Refold garments periodically to prevent tearing along creases.
Iron gently at low temperature.
Do not leave the iron in one place for too long.
Stain Removal Guidelines
Professional cleaning is always recommended for stain removal. However, under necessary circumstances, the following methods may be used:
Protein Stains
(Blood, perspiration, deodorant, etc.)
Dab the stained area gently with cotton soaked in mild detergent.
Rinse with cold water.
Nail Polish
Apply acetone carefully to the stained area.
Grease & Oil-Based Stains
(Gravy, beverages, oil, butter, cosmetics, etc.)
Dab talcum powder on the stain.
Dust off after absorption.
Apply dry cleaning liquid.
Rinse with cool water, followed by lukewarm water.
